Week beginning Monday 27th June

The Lasers and Machine shop will be closed for around 3 days beginning next Monday.

Due to persistent issues with the flooring in the laser room the the covering for the entire area needs to be removed and replaced. Obviously this means that the area needs to be cleared for this to happen.

Bookings have been blocked for the next 4 days (Friday - Wednesday) to allow this to happen. As soon as the work is completed we will be able to re-open laser bookings.

The shop and hand tool workshop will be unaffected.

Exhibition Week (13.06 - 17.06)

Preliminary plans are for the workshop to be closed the week leading up to the exhibition.

This is to allow staff to fabricate new structures and set up boards.If everything runs smoothly we will be able to re-open, but please do not leave anything important for this week.

I strongly advise any model making or base fabrication that you need for the exhibition is done next week!

Tuesday 31st May 2016

Please be aware that the workshop will be closed for the morning of 31st of May to facilitate the 6th Year exam set up.

We plan to re-open at 13:30. If not I will update here, so please check before coming down!

Laser bookings have been temporarily blocked and will be released before opening.

In order to set up for 6th year examinations we are running altered opening hours next week.

Please organise yourself accordingly.

If you require a drill or toolkit to use at the Arts Tower, please collect one in advance of closures.
